| April and May Rides April 5th Chimney 12th * Recliner (8:45am Sunset Market) *Mountain Bike Ride and Tie (9am, Mule Mtn. Parking lot) *RMB Spring Party!!! (6:30pm) 2323 Amethyst way Bring a dish to share, your favorite adult beverages, a couple of lawn chairs, and we will provide finger foods, soda, and entertainment. Any questions, email us. 19th Clikapudi Extension Trail Work Day! (and ride afterwards) Meet at Sunset Market at 8:45am, or at the Jones Valley parking lot at 9:30am. We will work on the trail for 1 to 1 1/2 hours, then ride! 26th Lemurian Race!!! (www.shastalemurian.org) May Rides 3rd Mule Mountain! This is a ride for everyone! Beginners will have a nice flat loop, intermediates will add on a couple of climbs, and the advanced riders will go up and over the top and include part of Buck Hollow. Meet at 8:45am, at Sunset. Then join us afterwards as we deliver a 30 year anniversary cake to The Bike Shop!!! 10th The RMB/Sweat duathlon pre ride. Even if you are not racing, this will be a fun ride, who knows, it may even give you the desire to get out and race! Meet at Sunset at 8:45am. Info for the event can be found on our home page. 17th No club ride, as we all will be at the RMB/Sweat duathlon! If you are not going to race, how about lending a hand? Let us know via email if you can help. 24th The 12 hours of Weaverville race! We are currently forming teams for this fun filled day. If you would like to be on a team, let us know. We are forming teams of 1, 2, 3 and 4, all same sex, or mixed, along with different age's and abilities. There is something that YOU are needed for! 31st. Hornbeck and Lower Sacramento trails! These are the newest trails in Redding, and they are fun! Easy, roller-coaster terrain, no major climbs, just a fun, relaxing ride. We recommend this for all levels of riders. Remember, there are some of us who ride Sundays, generally a less intense ride, focusing more on the social aspect. If you would like to be a part of this email me. Also, you guys can use the RMB message board to put together your own rides during the week. It is a valuable tool for communicating your ride desires! Also, check our events page for races and other 'goings on' in 2008. We meet every Saturday at Sunset Market, on the corner of Buenaventura and Eureka way at 8:45am, leaving for the trail head by 9:00am.
