Southfork Challenge!
This is for those of us with the competitive spirit. Both beginner and advanced, male or female, young or old. Here is how it works. There are 4 levels, level one is for people who make it all the way to the top without stopping. Level two participants have to do the same, only in the front middle chain ring. Level Three moves it up to the big chain ring! Last but not least, level four is for time. Best time is the leader!
This is to help encourage all of us to improve. A little friendly competition really does inspire you to do better. Here's what you do: its all on your honor. If you can, take a picture of the watch or timepiece you used to time your run. If you are just going for the middle ring or big ring challenge, your word that you made it is all we need. You start your timepiece at the turnout on 299, (at the telephone pole) and stop it once you touch the tower at the top.
Even if you don't make it the whole way, let us know, we will mark it down, that will give you something to beat next time.
Get out there and ride Southfork! email your times to
